Digital Metal Casting leapfrogs 3D metal printing to rapidly produce fully dense metal parts with the same physical properties as traditional cast metal.
3D printers are slow and expensive.
They require specialized expertise to operate and maintain.

CNC machining is a subtractive process - most of your material ends up on the shop floor.

Founder & CEO
15 years as an industrial designer working on award-winning new product design and engineering projects - driver's seat perspective on the challenges in rapid prototyping and short run prototyping.
Josh is leading the development of our printing technology. He has a wealth of experience in robotics and submersibles and has been a key part of the success of our prototype machine.
RuiFeng is a talented industrial designer whose masters in 3d Printed products and focus on user experience has been ideal for his role in prototyping and design for manufacture.
Electronics System R&D
Robby is leading the development of the electronics. He has plenty of experience with custom-built antennas and automation. He played an integral part of the success of our prototype machine.
Ronan is in charge of early stage prototyping and testing. He has helped push the technology that is used in our machine. His talents in software programming has helped streamline our printing process.
We are looking for an intermediate/senior mechanical engineer to get hands on with the design of our machines. Lots of experience with FEA (Thermal a huge advantage) and lots of practical design experience. A background in design for manufacture and an understanding of the need to test prototypes and fail fast. Ideally you will have experience taking products to market.
Are you a microwave expert (Sorry communications guys - this is microwave heating) looking to escape to paradise? (New Zealand!) We are on the hunt for a physics genius who can help us design cavities, model mode distributions and source generators. We realize you are a rare breed so we are happy to discuss short term secondments too. (12 months)
Solid state amplifier experience would be a real bonus.
Foundry Lab does metal casting a bit differently - If you have a solid background in traditional casting and are happy to adapt that knowledge into a new technique we would love to work with you. Knowledge of Aluminium casting is essential.
We are building our software engineering team out. If you are interested in building software to enable hardware then please get in touch.
We are looking for technicians to join our team. You will be running our machines, troubleshooting issues and working with the engineering team to find solutions. It's much more than pressing start on a printer - we are looking for a technican+
